A story about woody's prank. This is my artwork in this year for the giveaway. Taken by Nikon D3100. I want to create comedy theaterical situation, so the viewer got laugh when they saw this.

Crossover story about movie character that ain't playing any movie yet. What would they do? I want to create something classy yet child-fun-factor. Taken by Nikon D3100.

My first illustration for mural work. This is dedicated to the best client, mom.

Theme : Nature Surrealism

Title : "A Good Day"

I worked this for 12 hours in 2 days. Used waterproof drawing pen, marker, white and black oil-based paint, and black acrylic.

Dramatic Showcase 4th Season - Shanks & Luffy Collectible Review

I am really anticipating into this figure. Finally this one is come to me without any delay. The scenario of this is one of the best that i really remember in One Piece series. I couldn't say no for buy this memento. 

This is the scene when Shanks went to the sea and say goodbye to Luffy (Episode 4). Straw hat that identically with Pirate King and Shanks, now given to Luffy as a promise with Shanks. Luffy want to be a great pirate, even, a pirate king, and when he is strong enough, Shanks give a word to Luffy that give this hat for me when you good enough.

Finish the intro, let's see the box first.

Next, the content :

Each box comes into one (1) figure, which is either shanks or luffy, and one (1) clear base.

Dramatic Showcase is a product (new) from Banpresto. They have an unique charateristic that make a 3D figure of great scene from One Piece story. This is the 4th season from its line. 

The size is about 12 cm (Shanks) and 9 cm (Luffy) tall.  It is quite good with a Banpresto standard. 

Paint job of this one is good enough. I can't see the miss with my bare eyes. But, when i got into photography, i could see small miss detail. 

If you like the old visual of shanks and luffy, i can say that this one is perfect. They sculpt and paint the face of old shanks really great. I am considering about the skin color of his leg. I don't know why, but it is still annoying when you see the upper body had a perfect skin color and the lower skin is incorrect. Other of that, the detail of his leg fur, the sandals, robe, sash, even his left part of shirt is really good. 

Let's jump into Luffy now.

I AM SUPER LIKE OF THIS. The face expression, gradient of his shirt, the straw hat, anything about this one is really great. If you feel curious about why the shirt is orange none like the "Anchor" shirt because this is came from the original manga and the first drawing of Eiichiro Oda. They translated this scene with a new episode named "Memories of Luffy". In this episode you could see this Luffy.

The rest of detail could see below. I took many photo for this review. 

Jump into conclusion, i give the score for the BOX 8/10 . Like previous edition, it is simple, but full with good composition. I don't have many complaints about this because they are talking about dramatic element from the figure. I could see why they chose this design. 

About the PACKAGING 10/10. It is not too shabby but not too loose when it still inside the box. They calculating the size really well. SCULPTING 9/10. Why i must asking for more? This is made really great. I am imagining about this piece while still made by gray clay. It is really good. POSE 10/10, i can say this is not bad, right? The beginning of a "Straw-hat Luffy" is from here. PAINTING 8/10, it is about the shanks's leg and the little miss paint in the face area. Beside of that, no more complaint. Even Luffy painted really well. So, i think this is a bad luck for me. ENJOYMENT 9/10, because in my mind i imagined that the scale is bigger than this (SCultures sizes). But this one is good enough to placed everywhere, neither in detolf, bookshelf, even glass cabinet.

Final Thought : 
Wow, this is maybe another one that strike into the concept. I am really like into this. This is as an alternative for you that couldn't buy the Ichiban Kuji version, which is rare to found and quite prize too. Combining with the price and what we got, this one is great. Don't miss it.

Digital Painting - Still Image Remake (1)

My new digital painting in over a year. Trying to applying my training for lighting study from last Inktober. This one i painted over a still image from a movie "Bakemono no ko", or in english "The Boy and the Beast"  that released in July 2015. I am using Adobe PS in ~2-3 hours. The idea is still the same, Lighting study.

Sand Effect Diorama for SCultures Sir Crocodile (Handmade)

I try to make something-like-effect for my SCultures collection. I create this for sampling a new project that i could sell in my selling account here. I want to build some new product for the collectibles figure addict, and that is something like this.

I make this imagine the "Sables" skill that Crocodile had in One Piece series. The effect i made is including : a mini sandstorm-like effect that could shown in his hand, and a few of cracking ground effect. This diorama using air based clay, mix with sand texture and pastel grain color.

I don't take many photo in different angles, because i pass the golden hour and the place taken for this is too narrow. This below artwork i added texture from photoshop and little crop. You could save it for wallpaper as well. So, thank you for visiting.

Poster Design for #MAR16ERAK

This is my latest artwork for #MAR16ERAK, a good campaign from Kaskus, one of the biggest social forum in Indonesia. It says "MARI GERAK", or "Let's move". The campaign is about contributing to create an artwork with hashtag #MAR16ERAK (poster, illustration, photo, etc) about smoke mist disaster that happened in Indonesia, especially Sumatera and Kalimantan. For an artwork that we submitted, people from Kaskus will appreciated it with 5 pieces gas mask, and it will donated for people that living in that places. 

My artwork tells about an elementary kid that suffering a bad disaster. I added "kami butuh bantuan kalian'' in below, means "we need your help" that i tell as a civilian that felt that bad thing. I use manual watercolor technique, combine with photoshop for the layout.

Great Deep Collection from One Piece series - Shicibukai part 03 (Dracule Mihawk)

This is my latest collection of the shicibukai's head, next to Kurohige, Sir Crocodile and Kuma . I will continue if i got the rest of shicibukai ( i can't find Boa Hancock and Gecko Moria these days).

Now, let's get into the business.

I can't find any miss in this piece. The sculptor is really dedicated to create this as well as other collection in this product. For the first time i hold this, i am imagine that the hat is could removeable, so i wanna see the head of Mihawk. And, i just hope too much lol. It is not removeable. The good point for this one is, the sword is made by something-like-steel material, it is great. Next, the floral design that applied inside the robe in this one is really good. I could see the depth, not just painted in same layer as the robe. The face is 100% accurate, for sure. They have really good sense for face sculpting.

Enough talk, see the different angles below.

i wish the sword has an exact color, Kokuto Sword.

I have no complaint about this. 8 of 10 is a good score, seeing from the sculpt and paint quality.
