      This is my favorite character from Dragon Ball franchise, Vegetto. He called like that as a fuse between "Goku" and "Vegeta" names. This form as a result into fusion state which they have to be like that because of fighting against Buu, a antagonist / villain character from Buu saga. Oh yeah, this one is a Super Saiyan version of Vegetto (i believe you could see it).

First impression about this product, i am really like the box art. The illustration in the front box is awesome. Somewhat, it's like high quality product with maintain the detail, including the box itself. One thing that little annoying me is the sticker that replace the "Dragon Ball Kai" names on the print, and switch with the "Dragon Ball Z". It is quite funny i guess for such a mistake. But, yeah, we respect the imprefection of humans. See the picture of the packaging below.

Master Stars Piece is has released the first product in 2009, and keep producing a great static pose statue which is came from all over variant of Japan animation series. For this one, is the fifth edition after releasing Trunks in previous product. 

Next, the product contains two parts from statue, the upper body and lower body. One thing to remind that this edition we don't get a figure stand. I don't really mind for that, because this Vegetto could stand without it.

This one is a plus point for this Master Stars Piece, most of them can stand by itself because of the great balance in them. Nice design. It is sculpted really well. Nice quality paint bla bla bla..., and the height for this Vegetto is about 28 centimeters. See it below for the much of explanation.

For the detail, the boots is sculpted really well. The special thing is came from the earrings. The name is "Potara Earrings". The Banpresto team using clear material for this one, so it looks really cool. The orange-clear effect that you could see for this one. Hair is sculpted really great too. You will see the good flow from the detail that will makes you impress.

Since Dragon Ball franchise is continuing to start as "Dragon Ball Super" in this fall 2015, i think it is good to see another great collectible statue like this one. This collectible is worthy to had. It doesn't have much cons, so this is great. And, reminding as well, just buy the original product from the real manufacturer. Well, respect the artist, sculptor, and anything that involved for producing a great art. Thank you for stopping by and reading.

Drawing of June 2015

As until now i don't have any routine time for drawing, i just got two artworks that has been made because i just have to finishing my college study. Next month, predicted that i would have a normal life again pfft. 

1. Live Sketching : Building

This is a sketch for my school, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. I did the C Building sketch for now. I got this by a scene that seen everyday when i working for the final project of my bachelor. I am using 0,1 Drawing Pen instead pencil first. Then, i am using standard marker for lining.



2. Hand Lettering : Warkop DKI Quote

I want inspiring people by using this quote. Maybe i will try to sell it someway, (print art, etc) and looking further for how to create a good art that could be enjoyed by all people. This quote came from legend comedian from Indonesia, Warkop DKI. Hand Lettering Study : Warkop DKI Quote

 

" We are never feeling empty, the happiness just get borrowed from us. "

This is my first time for doing hand lettering. I chose to create something art like this one after surpassed the stepping stone in personally event. I want to feel positive and self-encourage to finishing our work as a student. 

This word is really direct and aimed really great, for those who felt down after something unpredictable happened. Quote from a legend comedian in Indonesia, Warkop DKI, is the inspiration for this artwork. If translated into English, it says : " We are never feeling empty, the happiness just get borrowed from us. "

You can see the progress below. I did it from the sketch, then i did lining with the drawing pen. After that, i scanned and edit color with software (Adobe Photoshop).
