Fan Art Challange - Ultigraph 2015 Karsa Kelana

     I am entering the fan art challange of Ultigraph event, an annual (maybe) event related to art and design from my campus in Indonesia. This is scheduled in beginning of May 2015, and over in a week. The goal of this challange is to draw the mascot of this event using your graphic / drawing style. The uniqueness factor is as one of the biggest point for winning this competition. This is my documentary for the process from nothing to the final. 

Celebration for top 4 best photos

Yeah i got top 4 from the competition in unboxing instagram challange from Toygraphy ID. It boosts my spirit really great !

"You got a prank in me ! " of my artwork got appreciated by people and got title in 4 best photos, from overall 100 pictures that submitted in this competition. I will print out this one for sure. Thanks, folk ! This one is really precious for myself.

1. Portrait of Jackie Chan
Maybe i will keep training for drawing portrait.
 

2. Hulkbuster vs Hulk
I am just daydreaming and sketch random movement pose. First, i am sketching the Hulk pose and then i came with this idea. I have just recognized this Hulk is too small, but that is still fine i think.

3. Koffing from Pokemon
I draw this one for random doodle, actually i want to make this version of sculpture art. Someday..
 

4. Cyborg from DC Teen Titans
I am one of the fan of Teen Titans, and a month ago i just want to draw them as my drawing practice. Yes, still need hard smart work to do.

5. Beastboy from DC Teen Titans
I am keeping this as one of my favorite. The color pallete from this character design's is really good i think.

Character Design : Glenn

This is my recent work for the contest from a local book publisher in Indonesia. They are looking for a mascot character design for their company, and it does a public contest for anyone. I designed this character named Glenn. This inspired by my daily sketch in my sketchbook, i do draw him as a happy and relaxing person. He do anytihng he like and he is not being bossy by something complicated. The red hair comes from his mother. That is symbol of bravery. I designed him as a tall person and always wearing a sweater that he loved. Glenn itself has a meaning that is he really great at analyzing something quickly.

Sadly, i didn't enter contest and not in top 10 of the chosen's design. Nothing to lose, i just try my luck.
